WCO Clinic application – Solution details
The Wroclaw Eye Center app provides key information about ophthalmic treatments for current and prospective patients of the clinic. The project consists of several essential components:
· PUSH reminders for treatments and medications (e.g., applying eye drops at the right time of day).
· The system automatically adjusts notifications based on the chosen treatment.
· The app includes crucial information on how to prepare for a procedure and what post-treatment care to follow.
· A contact module for the Clinic.
· Instructional videos discussing topics related to ophthalmic treatments.
The app serves as excellent promotional material for the clinic. By including essential information about treatments and medications, the clinic saves on printing traditional informational materials, as patients no longer require printed leaflets.
Strategy
Our client’s goal was to create a mobile app for an ophthalmic clinic in Wroclaw. The app was designed to help dispel doubts about treatments for patients of the Wroclaw Eye Center. By making information readily available, the app aimed to increase customer awareness about treatments, services offered, and potential preparation and medication.
Challenges
After gathering project requirements from the client, we determined that the app must be user-friendly for post-treatment users, who may have limited vision. The app’s UX and design needed to be well thought out for usability among patients. The appearance and functionality were designed to be as intuitive as possible.

· The WCO app distinguishes the Wroclaw Eye Center from other clinics, as competing practices do not offer a dedicated app.
· Reduced costs of printing informational materials – with all information included in the app, patients do not need printed materials.
· Post-treatment patient comfort. Patients have a customized treatment plan tailored to their specific procedure. The app automatically reminds patients to take medications, further facilitating regular medication use. A better patient experience positively impacts the clinic’s reputation.
